“The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise.” Said our former president Dr. Abdul Kalam. Education isn’t just learning reading, writing and arithmetic but also an opportunity to learn new skills or gain expertise in the needed field; it helps to change the entire future and open doors that would otherwise be closed. Education is a basic human for every child. The Constitution of India provides for free and compulsory education for all children up to 14 years of age. In pursuance of this Government of India has enacted the Right to Education Act, 2009. However, the goal of universalization of primary education is still far from our reach.

Education can empower individuals and give them a chance to succeed in life, regardless of their social status or circumstance. Education isn’t just a privilege, but also a basic human right.
